We built this office in Knightdale in 2008. It is located on a 3.6 acre industrial site next to the Raleigh East Airport. We have a 3,600 SF office facility with a 4,800 SF shop that has three repair bays where we maintain all of our own heavy equipment. Click "read more" below to see some more photos!
FORT BRAGG BEHAVIOR HEALTH CLINIC
In September of 2011 Gaines began work with Hensel Phelps at the Fort Bragg Womack Army Medical Center, a 63,500 SF facility with three new separate parking lots added to the existing facility.
FORT BRAGG WATERLINE REPLACEMENT PROJECT
In October of 2011, Gaines was directed by Old North Utility Services (ONUS) to start the first phase of a multi-million dollar contract for a 76,000LF waterline replacement project aboard Fort Bragg.
SHEARON HARRIS NUCLEAR PLANT COOLING TOWER
Gaines is working with the CCC Group and Progress Energy to replace over 6500 LF of 48” fused HDPE pipe for the blow down cooling tower line for this nuclear power plant. Great care has been used to prevent any damage to the existing line because the majority of this work was done while the plant was operational.
FORSCOM/USARC PROJECT AT FT. BRAGG
Gaines Construction successfully completed this $8 Million site package in October of 2011, on time and within budget. Gaines was chosen by Hensel Phelps to handle the demo, clearing, grading, utilities, and paving for the new FORSCOM/USARC Headquarters in Fort Bragg, North Carolina.
RESEARCH TRIANGLE INSTITUTE BUILDING 09
Gaines is working for Duke Construction on the newest addition to the RTI campus in the Research Triangle Park. Gaines is providing a turn key site package handling everything for Duke from the clearing and grading to the utilities, curb, stone and asphalt.
SALISBURY VA MEDICAL CENTER
Gaines Construction was thoroughly screened and selected after submitting a proposal for a best value solicitation requested by the Veteran’s Administration for the replacement and upgrade of their existing aging infrastructure around the Hefner VA Medical Center.
